Internet Is Fun is a magazine about the curious corners of the internet — the tools worth using, the culture worth understanding, and the websites that exist for no good reason at all.
Two halves, one idea
Most sites about the internet only write about it. We do both.
One half is the magazine: explainers, guides and short pieces on internet culture, AI, the weird web and the occasional rabbit hole. The other half is interactive — quizzes that read you a little too accurately, calculators that turn a vague feeling into a specific number, generators for when you need an idea right now, and searchable databases of things worth keeping.
They are meant to be used together. Read a piece about why everyone hoards browser tabs, then take the quiz about it. Read about lost media, then go through the archive.
What we are interested in
- Internet culture, and where the words everyone is suddenly using came from
- AI and technology, judged on whether they actually work rather than how they demo
- The weird web: hand-made sites, useless tools and things nobody optimised
- Practical guides for getting more out of the internet

How we handle numbers
A note, because it matters more than it should have to: any figure on this site is one we actually recorded.
When something is labelled Popular, that reflects real plays and completions of that quiz, calculator or generator. When we highlight something without that data behind it, we call it an Editor’s pick, because that is what it is — a choice, not a measurement. We do not publish invented view counts, star ratings or trend percentages, and we would rather show you a shorter list than pad one.
Corrections and suggestions
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. If you have found a website that belongs in one of our collections, send it over — a good chunk of what we publish arrives that way.
